General Information

Monroe County's Traffic Division provides a wide variety of services, both to the public and Law Enforcement agencies. All traffic citations, parking tickets, and marine patrol civil infractions are handled by this division. Citations are received daily from the Monroe County Sheriff's office, Florida Highway Patrol, City of Key West Police Department, Key Colony Beach Police Department and the Florida Wildlife Commission.

These citations are entered into the system at all three locations. With our three locations the public has the convenience of paying their citation in any location. The Clerk's office also attends and records all traffic hearings held by County Judges or Hearing Officers. The Clerk's office then reports the dispositions to the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in a timely manner.
